Tomekichi Homma Elementary and Archibald Blair Elementary, in Richmond BC, were selected to participate in CUEBC’s iPad Inquiry. We are very excited about this opportunity and can’t wait to explore what we can do with iPads in the elementary school setting.
Homma Elementary’s proposal involved using the iPads in Kindergarten (Neighbourhod Program and Early French Immersion), a grade 3 EFI classroom and in the school’s library.
Blair Elementary’s proposal involved investigating the use of apps and online resources to enhance the study of astronomy with a class of grade 3 students.
Homma Elementary will have the 11 iPads from February 1-22 and Blair will have them from Feb 23-March 17.
